Conectys launches version 2.0 of FraudBreaker, strengthening its lead in Online Fraud Detection

November 17, 2009 - Conectys, the leading provider of Online Fraud Detection Services today announced the launch of version 2.0 of their state-of-the-art Fraud Detection platform, FraudBreaker (www.fraudbreaker.com).

As a result of the continuous growth of online fraud, the Belgian Company further improved its technology for fraud detection, combining more advanced tools and manual review services in order to minimize exposure to online fraud.

FraudBreaker 2.0 further enhances fraud detection effectiveness by using deeper device fingerprint detection combined with richer comparison based device fingerprinting algorithms. The result is far greater device fingerprint accuracy and significantly reduced numbers of false positives (legitimate transactions wrongly labelled as fraud). Eliminating false positives is the key to lowering fraud related revenue loss and manual review cost.

Furthermore, improvements have been made to the manual review workflow of suspected fraud cases. Fraud analysts are now presented with a richer set of information regarding fraud indicators, allowing faster and more precise decision making.

The upgrade to FraudBreaker 2.0 was also used to fine-tune the user interface and overall design of the application.
